Plexus Group is a Maryland electrical and telecommunications contractor serving government agencies, transportation authorities, schools, universities, and commercial facilities since 1995. We design it, we build it, we test it, and we stay to maintain it — as prime or as subcontractor.
The electrician doesn’t coordinate with the cabling contractor. The security integrator arrives after the ceilings close. The fire alarm sub needs a pathway nobody roughed in. RFIs multiply, the schedule slips, and the owner or general contractor ends up mediating between three subcontractors who each did exactly what their contract said.
Plexus Group closes those seams. We self-perform all three low-voltage and electrical divisions — Division 26 Electrical, Division 27 Communications, and Division 28 Electronic Safety and Security — under one submittal package, one set of manpower, and one company answerable for the result.

Fire alarm replacement in occupied dormitories. Conduit on active toll lanes under maintenance of traffic. Fiber relocations that keep roadside technology running through tunnel construction. We plan for live conditions from the start.

Submittals prepared to the specification. Closeout with bidirectional test results, labeling schedules, and as-built drawings. The facilities team that inherits the system should never have to guess.
